From Down Under

I have written before, and I started at Clements in 1955 and worked in the dress fabrics department,the boss in that department was Trevor Bird,and the store manager was Juanita.The store paid for tickets for us to see My Fair Lady with Julie Andrews on stage, in London.I lived with family at Colne Way new housing estate overlooking the motor way.I loved the jazz club and am sure Manfred Mann use to go there.I left UK in 1964 for California and finally landed here in New Zealand.
