Remembered with honour Portianos Military Cemetery: Plot IV, Row A, Grove 200.
He enlisted in London; was entitled to the Victory, British War and 1914-15 Star medals, his qualifying date being 21 August 1915, and died at 3rd Australian General Hospital, Mudros. Unfortunately, Frank’s Service Record appears to be one that did not survive the World War Two bombing.

Son of Thomas Willson and Emma (nee FRETTON/ FRETTEN) BAILEY; husband of Frances Mary (nee CLARK) BAILEY of Addlestone, Surrey.
His parents married 26 November 1862 at Trinity Church, Paddington, London. Emma died 1913 in Watford aged 72, and was buried 25 September in Vicarage Road Cemetery, Watford; Thomas died 31 January 1928 in Watford aged 87, and was buried 4 February, also in Vicarage Road Cemetery..
Frank was born either 8 or 17 December 1879 in Boxmoor, Herts, and baptised 26 January 1879 at St Mary’s, Hemel Hempstead, Herts. He attended first Beechen Grove Infants’ School, Watford; then Victoria Boys’ School, Watford, from 19 January 1885; then St Andrew’s Boys’ School, Watford, from 16 January 1888 to 4 July 1890. He married firstly Mary KERRISON 1 September 1900 at St Mary’s, Watford. Mary died 1908 in the Camberwell, London, district aged 31. He remarried 26 March 1910 at St Luke’s, Hammersmith, London; they had at least one child. Frances never remarried and died 1971 in the Bridge, Kent, district aged 87.
He has an entry in the National Probate Calendar.
On the 1881 Census, aged 2 he lived in Hemel Hempstead, with his parents and six siblings. On the 1891 Census, a telegraph messenger aged 13, he lived in Watford, with his parents and four siblings. On the 1901 Census, a journeyman cooper aged 22, he lived in Deptford, London, with his first wife and no children. On the 1911 Census, a brewer’s cooper aged 32, he lived in London S E, with his second wife and no children.
